We are happy to share that our Litigation department has scored another critical landmark victory in a major class action on behalf of five public companies, including one dual-listed company, against whom allegations were made that financial reports filed on the Israeli Stock Exchange and the Securities Authority websites were non-accessible for disabled people.
The Honorable Judge Oded Maor of the District Court in Tel Aviv denied all requests for the approval of the class action. The Court referred to the legal difficulties we pointed out and ordered the requests to be denied as they failed to meet the necessary conditions provided in the Class Actions Law, according to which the class action is the efficient and fair way to resolve the dispute.
Hadas Bekel, a partner in our Litigation department ad a specialist in class actions, together with Adv. Sarit Rozenberger Zada, represented the respondents.
We are proud to have successfully defended our clients and grateful for the trust they have placed in us throughout this journey.
