Profile
Shay is a partner in our firm’s Corporate, M&A and High-Tech Departments, and Co-Head of the Telecoms and Media Department.
Shay’s practice is focused on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, representing both foreign and domestic corporations (public and private) in acquisitions and doing business in Israel in a wide array of sectors. As a High-Tech practitioner, Shay advises startup companies (many of which operate in the automotive field) through all their life cycle stages.
In addition, Shay advises clients in the field of telecommunications and media on various commercial and regulatory aspects.
Shay was recognized in the LEGAL 500 ranking edition (2022) as a Next Generation partner in the field of Commercial, Corporate and M&A.
Prior to joining EBN in 2016, Shay was a partner in the private equity practice of a leading Israeli law firm.

Congratulations to our client, Gesher I Acquisition Corp, a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC), for consummating a business combination with Freightos Limited, a company which operates a leading freight booking and payment platform. Following the successful merger, Freightos is now traded on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol CRGO.
The transaction was led by partners Doni Toledano, Shay Dayan and Nitzan Aberbach, along with associates Alon Abramovich and Narda Vasquez Arancibia (M&A and Corporate Department). Also assisted partner Lior Etgar (Privacy and Data Protection Department), partner Hadas Erenberg (Labor Law Department) and intern Ariella Mankowitz.
